UKIP are on to give the major parties a good kicking.

Recommended Posts

Now that they have elected representatives, their candidates and councillors views will come under scrutiny.

Once the public get wind of the fact that UKIP amount to little more than a collection of hysterical Daily Mail headlines - UKIP will exist for the comedy / shock value.

But we want UKIP to tell us how they'd make it work.
I want all the opposition parties to tell me how they'd (respectively) make it work.

So far, 2 years on or so, only the Coalition has shown its game, having no choice in the matter since they're at the levers.

Criticism is easy, it is the art which is difficult :P

................giving a hiding to the main parties, indeed ;)

I'm quite sure there are already countless other UKIP-themed SF threads discussing their (ho-hum) policies.

Good result for them, very well done.

Even Labour were trying to excuse it as a protest vote.

I'm glad to see a strong third party alternative instead of the usual flipping from red to blue.

What are the tories trying to excuse it as then?

I think the more telling news is the loss of Labour vote in South Shields. I notice you've been very quiet about that.

Whilst you are thinking about that, have a think on the other little posers you've avoided
