Drones to be deployed to monitor illegal foxhunts

Recommended Posts

Well, thanks to you and Roots for an interesting debate, it had me thinking quite a bit. I think we all agree that the main focus of dementia care ought to be good quality support. I'll ask you to keep an eye on the civil liberty issue and consider what the future holds for us as surveillance increases and in return I'll try not to get too paranoid about it hehe :)

(PS as I type there's a news article on Sky News about the commercialisation of drone usage- that paranoia thing might be quite difficult to overcome lol).

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!

You can own your own drone for £250 here... http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Radio-Control-Toys/Radio-Control-Parrot-AR-Drone-20-Quadricopter-(0101813)?cm_mmc=Google-_-ProductListingAds-_-NA-_-Radio%20Control%20Parrot%20AR%20Drone%202.0%20Quadricopter&gclid=CJy07cbf_7YCFWbKtAodRGgA0Q

Track him via his phone !!!:hihi::hihi::hihi:

LOL, I'll have to start working on a fake version of Sheffield Forum to infect his computer with a keylogger :hihi:

Only trouble is I couldn't even get the ZX Spectrum games to work when I used to type them in lol :)

You do realise that the "drone" is just a radio controlled plane (with camera) being flown by the activists themselves?

Vision of future:

R/C planes flown by hunters, with, as someone suggested, machine guns on wings, doing aerial battle with the surveillance drones.

Who will need to hunt a fox when they can have air battles?

Being chased on horseback ;)

It's not difficult to be chaste on horseback; being unchaste on horseback is said to be exciting, but risky!

If drones are going to become regularly deployed in our skies may I suggest that one use they could be put to which would surely be more beneficial to our environment would be the depositing of litter from motor vehicles.

Foxes feast on the surplus food dumped from fast food outlets and the eradication od such dumping would go some small way to keeping the fox population under control as well. Similarly, Crows Seagulls and Magpies.
