DerbyTup
Depends why you've lost the gas in the first place I suppose? I had this problem with my Land Rover Discovery and it was down to the air con pipes having corroded. It had front and rear air con and the pipes ran the length of the car - and were expensive to replace. In the end I didn't bother because we were looking at about £400. I opened a window instead. Assuming it's nothing like that I would have guessed maybe £50 to refill the system.

Streetfarce
I can't trust Kwik Fit to do anything properly . . . . . . they will just be looking for unneccesary work to do on the car. its the worst place ever. I'd rather not go there, looking for a nice friendly local place
