Land Grab - Israel Too Evict 40,000 Orginal Bedouin Inhabitants

Recommended Posts

Israeli Cabinet ministers are backing a draft law to demolish Bedouin villages in the country's Negev Desert and relocate residents to state-approved settlements. If adopted, the country's latest ethnic cleansing project will affect tens of thousands.

Bedouin leaders have harshly criticized the plan, saying they were not included in discussions of the bill.

Under the Prawer-Begin plan, or 'The Bill on the Arrangement of Bedouin Houses in the Negev,' the Bedouin population will be relocated to officially recognized Bedouin towns such as Rahat, Khura and Ksayfe, and their current homes will be demolished.

as usual you are just being dumb. Must the state of Israel wire and plumb the entire Negev to include every Bedouin tent? Far better they get established in communities where a better standard of health and education can be achieved and where people like you won't try to argue that Arabs are 2nd class citizens in Israel. Bedouin leaders realised long ago it was the best place for them. It's just persuading the plebs. A lot of them think they can carry on just being nomads and still enjoy the benefit of being Israeli citizens.

I'd think a lot more of you if you opened up topics about how bad Bedouin are treated by Cairo over the Egypt border. Which is, needless to say, far worse than in Israel.

That's a good idea. The area can be redeveloped for fast food restaurants, move theatres, sports arenas, internet cafes, hotels, casinos and family recreation areas. Thee could also be a counseling center for Bedouin women to learn about their rights in the modern world

Bring the place into the 21st century so to speak

Don't you get embarrassed with your blatant lies when defending apartheid Israel ?

So Israel is evicting these 40,000 who have lived in that part of the world all Thier lives ( unlike most of the current European inhabitants. ) so they could get better plumbing ?

Is that your argument ? They are being evicted so they get better plumbing ?

O please don't embarrass your self you did that when you called the kazharian empire a conspiracy .

back in the 1970s when Israel occupied Sinai, the Bedouin got accustomed to their ways. Even though, Sinai was always under martial law the Bedu still thought the Israelis were better than the Cairenes. And they still do. I don't see any of them emigrating to Egypt or Syria or Jordan, even though they are supposed to be good at moving around. They know what's best for them and they are staying put as Israelis.

you only see Islamist Bedouins singing the praises of the jolly old Muslim Brotherhood. However few Bedu are keen Muslims. Most Bedu know they are in the best country there is for anybody to live in, be they Jewish or non-Jewish round there.

Dear SYBC, please try and learn the difference between 'to' ( as in 'I am going to the shops') and 'too' (as in 'Would you like to come too?').

I find your apparent inability to use either correctly very distracting and it detracts from any good sense your posts may or may not contain.
