When you put an old slang word in, please tell us what it means?

 

worr abhart dis den, teck de ook, gerrardurit da mus be kiddin, oo torks lyk dis nar.ayasthe. weer wahthar brungup.

 

what about this then.take your hook.get out of it you must be kidding,who talks like this now, where was you brought up.

IT' has always been an expressive word...

You could be ready to go, (up for it)

In trouble when you got home, ( in for it)

You could even tell lies and be (full of it ) .....;)

 

"Nebbin".... spying.

Turned a deaf ear...... didn't listen.

Turned a blind eye...... didn't look

Copped for lot.....got it all.

Tried to tap him up.... tried to borrow some money.
