steviered
I remember going to Bozzy's quite a few times, he had pictures all round the room of different hairstyles and you would point to one and say "cut it like that one Bozzy" but you would always come out with the usual short back and sides. People used to say he used to cut hair with a knife and fork. He had an illuminated sign in his window advertising Durex which for some reason we used to giggle at when we were kids. Allchurch was supposed to have been the best barber, his wife worked alongside him, one would be talking about the holiday they'd been on and the other would be saying how ill they had been. He made his own haircream and when he'd cut your hair he would say "do you want anything on sir" then he would slap a dollop of this stuff on and slake your hair back and after a time it would look like patent leather. There was also another barber in Handsworth called Pete Kelly, but I don't ever remember going to him.
