Nigel Farage, trapped in a pub

Recommended Posts

Nice to see a politician rumbled; no violence, nowt lobbed at him, just a good old fashioned protest. They don't like it up em.

Would it be just as good if ed milliband scuttled into a boozer or is it only a good thing if you don't like the politician.

It's mob rule and I thought we, as a country were better than that. Clearly not.

Who will have been dissuaded from voting UKIP because of this? No-one. It has given the party more publicity than an incident free press conference would have. And it also gives the impression that there is a hate campaign against UKIP and Farage, people trying to stop them saying what they want to say. It's totally counter-productive.

Yet needed a police escort away from this "peaceful protest". Luckily it will just give UKIP more media exposure so is counter productive for the protesters.

That's what it's all about.

I don't know much about him but I'd guess he's teetotal. Not much chance of finding him down at your local boozer

Left wing thuggery, nothing new there.

Right wing idiocy. Nothing new there. Would you like me to post videos of right wing racist violence and casually imply that all right wingers were guilty of such?

What a pathetic answer, but not a surprising one.

Oh come on? There's nothing in that article to imply the protesters were left right or whatever. All you can really conclude is that a controversial politician had to hide from a thuggish mob. That's wrong regardless of the mix of opinion of the mob.

Demonstrators appear to have been mainly young, left wing supporters of Scottish independence

Was General Pinochet a leftist? Or are you just generalising as usual?

Has anyone highlighted ANY policy of UKIP that is racist yet?
