Try the third paragraph :

Asked about how many elected representatives he has in Scotland, Mr Farage said: "Absolutely none, but rather more than the BBC. We could have had this interview in England a couple of years ago, although I wouldn't have met with such hatred as I'm getting from your questions.

Frankly, I've had enough of this interview, goodbye."

Oh no, not a question about how we're doing in Scotland, please! How abusive!

It's on the BBC website too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-22567099

It doesn't matter that this happen in Scotland because it was seen by everyone in the UK who watches the news or reads a paper.

Something else everyone in the UK who reads a paper will see will be the article about UKIP councillor Eric Kitson who resigned after less than 2 weeks in office because he said among other things that Hitler was controlled by Jews.

Indeed... taking on a few idiots is an unfortunate side effect of rapid expansion! Conspiracy idiots aren't unique to the right though. See here.

A few idiots? Farage is complaining that the Scottish protestors were saying to him what he and his party says to Romanians, Poles, Bulgarians et al (but not his German wife) i.e. go back to from whence you came. He called these protestors fascists which sounds like an admission of being a fascist himself. At least they only said it to one person. He says it to millions.

Also, if you say UKIP is like the Labour Party you're undermining the claim that UKIP is not like the other parties.

It did not descend into violence, no one got hurt.

Granted, "Go back to England" is a stupid battle cry. Although I doubt that it was on every single protestor's lips.

What if they'd been shouting go back to another country ..like Pakistan?

A moot point being as Romania, Poland and Bulgaria are not part of the UK. As England and Scotland are part of the UK, Farage as an Englishman has as much right to be in Scotland as any Scottish person has to be in England.

Also UKIP don't tell anybody they should go back, you made that bit up.

Threatening violence against political opponents is pretty fascist, I'm sure you'd agree with this if it were a BNP or NF mob.

I don't know why he bothered to go up there in the first place, dislike for the English is pretty much taken for granted in Scotland, I personally was relieved to get back to Sheffield.

We love it up there, we go every year and receive nothing but a warm welcome. But then I'm not a complete git.
