FANAdeLdF
I think I've just given up on a grown-up debate. Nice avatar. Very fitting.
altus
Well, if Liam says so it must be right lol As for the Radical Independence Group, who the blinking heck are they... Long live King Nigel.... A vote for any other party is a wasted vote... PS Its quite ironic that you complain of not getting a grown up debate while the numpties up north won't allow one... UKIP supporters always run away from debates. As you seem so keen on them, perhaps we could start here. What do you think of UKIP's plans for the education of children who won't be going to grammar schools? Perhaps you could preface your answer by explaining what UKIP policies are for the education of such children. After we've debated that, we can get on to discussing UKIP's proposals to increase spending whilst reducing taxes and how they hope to pay for all that. Why don't you start a thread on those topics then, with a link to the policy, and start with your critique of the policy?
altus
Why don't you start a thread on those topics then, with a link to the policy, and start with your critique of the policy? There don't appear to be such policies on the UKIP web site - that's why I'm asking UKIP supporters. I assume they know what policies they are supporting and that they don't just consider UKIP to be a protest party. Or do you all really think that UKIP is not a proper political party after all? It might be better to start with UKIP's critique of their own policies. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2013/apr/27/ukip-local-elections-emails Given that UKIP have severe policy issues criticising them is like shooting fish in a barrel. The only thing to admire about UKIP is how good they are at locking onto populist issues. Once they identify an issue as their territory they take genuine ownership of it. Impressive, dangerous for other parties and something they should all learn from and learn to fight.

I1L2T3
...and there wouldn't ever be any difference of opinion internally within either of LibLanCon would there. Of course there is. But UKIP are supposed to bring something different. 5 minutes in they've got a policy crisis and considering buying policies from think tanks. Ridiculous. They'll get found out once the other parties get a strategy together.
