coolbeans Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 SOME INFO ON THE BROOMHILL FESTIVAL: The Broomhill Festival was started in 1975 by a group of Architecture students who had carried out a project on Broomhill, as part of their course. The 1976 festival ran for just 6 days from 23rd – 29th May. Many of the events have remained today such as the Garden Party, Art Exhibitions and wide range of Music Events. Some of the events from the 1970′s which haven’t managed to survive the test of time are the Croquet Tournament, the Dog Show and the Most Beautiful Person Competition! The Festival is now in its 38th year. (ref - http://broomhillfestival.org.uk/) Cool Beans have been asked to get involved in the 38th year, and you know what, we think it's time to bring back the Most Beautiful Person Competition!
