F O S Posted May 21, 2013 Share Posted May 21, 2013 Grand Clearout of Shirtcliffe Valley One of Sheffield's "Environment Weeks" Events Friends of Shirtcliffe Volunteer Workday Saturday 25th May 1pm to 3pm Friends of Shirtcliffe require volunteers to help us remove litter and rubbish from around the Valley bottom and brook. All equipment and protective gloves are provided; please wear suitable clothing and footwear this task will probably involve paddling in the stream and getting muddy – wellies are definitely recommended! Can you spare us an hour or two? If so why not come along and volunteer to help us to maintain Shirtcliffe Wood and Valley. Meet at 1pm Schubert Bridge Entrance to the woods, Beaver Hill Road (below and opposite the SY Fire Brigade Training Centre, S13 9QA). Grid ref: SK 41993 85303.
