Some very good stalls and excellent cafe here. Pity about the organisers. Anyone else had a non customer friendly experience here recently? Is this why several stall holders have moved to rivals across the road? Asked about discount when purchasing the other day. Was told it wasn't their policy to give discounts below £10. Asked where policy was displayed and why this limit. Was told policy isn't displayed -you only know if you ask - and it was their policy because it just is. I don't have a problem with no discount - just prefer to know that before I buy so I can decide if I want to shop there. And being told the policy with a smile and explanation would have been so much more customer friendly. I'm off to the emporium in future. Sorry to all those stall holders with a space in the antiques centre.

Why would you think that you are entitled to a discount anyway?

 

I wouldnt go in Tesco or a pub and ask for a discount.

It is normal because discount is not allowed at every place.
