True enough. Glad to see this has been reported on Channel 4 news. Our right wing Tory supporting media often ignores these kind of stories.

It's been all over the Beeb today. Are you another one of those people who seem incapable of seeing things when they are reported by the Beeb?

Aren't we the country that's not in recession whilst the EU are? Perhaps we should be giving them advice. The idiot who took over in France promising to tax the rich cut retirement age and increase spending has plunged the country into recession within months of taking office.

Just like the ConDems did here then, accept they gave the rich a tax cut of £42,500 for each million they earn!

We haven't really had a triple dip recession. Growth wobbling slightly above then slightly below zero a few times doesn't actually mean we were ever really out of recession in the first place (although it's better than if it had stayed resolutely negative).

It's also worth noting that the IMF have suggested Osborne tweak his plans by spending on infrastructure rather than advocate a wholesale reversal of his economic policy.

Wrong, we were moving relatively strongly out of recession between 2009 and 2010, we had 5 succesive quarters of economic growth until the ConDems policies kicked-in and down we went.
