Woolwich 'serious incident' 22 May 2013

Recommended Posts

This is the first time that I have ever seen a stabbing called a "terrorist attack". David Cameron really "jumped the gun" on that one. But then, "terrorism" is just a meaningless political buzzword these days, and Cameron is a politician, so it does make sense that he would use it.

What it actually is; is "a violent murder", perhaps a "hate crime".

The UN definition of terrorism:

"Criminal acts intended or calculated to provoke a state of terror in the general public, a group of persons or particular persons for political purposes are in any circumstance unjustifiable, whatever the considerations of a political, philosophical, ideological, racial, ethnic, religious or any other nature that may be invoked to justify them."

Almost copybook terrorism then.

Was Anders Behring Breivik labelled a terrorist after killing 77 people?

The Norwegian government even went as far as to try and claim he was insane.

He was frequently called a terrorist, claimed political and racial reasoning for his actions, and was convicted as a terrorist.

He was a copybook terrorist too.

its the scale of these things that get me, how many dead in the London bombing ? 56. and then this poor soldier.

now how many have died in syria ? 94k. then there is Afghanistan 31k then Libya 25k then Iraq 123k... thats 143 THOUSAND PEOPLE,

is it only now we know the real pain these people have suffered?..

we go mad saying how can this be happing in our streets?. because we have taken part in all of these other atrocities in other peoples street.

Its all wrong all deaths are simply unacceptable but come on are we really surprised this is happening??

He was born in Lambeth, London.

The other was born in Nigeria and is a naturalised British citizen.

This could possibly take care of that one,

Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006

section 56 of the Act allowing the Home Secretary to "deprive a person of a citizenship status if the Secretary of State is satisfied that deprivation is conducive to the public good."

We weren't involved in the Iran Iraq war. The common factor you are searching for is Islam. There isn't a country with an Islamic majority which hasn't descended into a cesspit of tyranny, corruption and violation of human rights. Islam is now working on infiltrating the rest of the world so that we may join the joy of sharia law, circumcision, and forced marriage.
