BEDROCK
Well, seeing is Bitcoin is regarded by some as a viable payment alternative with actual value being nobody ever has to deal with banks, which is always a good thing. I was also wondering what else has real value instead of money, I say gold and silver is always good investment as well as whisky! Yes I said that, whisky or any malt of your choice. Anything that you can stock up on that can be traded for labour or favours then why not.
Janus
Let`s say you have a bottle of whisky that has cost you £15. Would you get it`s value in exchange for something worth £15?
Vague_Boy
Anything that you can stock up on that can be traded for labour or favours then why not. That's barter not a currency. cur·ren·cy noun, plural cur·ren·cies. 1. something that is used as a medium of exchange; money bar·ter (bärtr) v. bar·tered, bar·ter·ing, bar·ters v.intr. To trade goods or services without the exchange of money. With barter there is no "medium of exchange", the exchange is direct, A for B.
