chem1st
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-22631731 Walking and texting is leading to a spate of collision-related injuries. Could a new app be the answer? We've all done it. You're walking down the street and the familiar beep of an incoming text becomes too tempting to resist. As you start to fire off a quick reply - bam! You clash shoulders with a fellow pedestrian doing exactly the same. I'm not sure I have walked into anything while texting. Have you? (I have walked into a lamp post before, think I was talking, and have most likely walked into all manner of things when drunk).

Resident
I've never actually done it but I've come close before. ---------- Post added 26-05-2013 at 16:18 ---------- No ! I always leave my mobile at home. Can't stand the damn thing. You're like my mother. Except on some occasions she'll take it with her but switch it off before she leaves. I ask her, the same I'll ask you, what's the point in having one if you only use it in the house? (bearing in mind she still has a landline)
iansheff
I saw a young woman the other week happily texting away then look up and saw she had walked past the bus stop so had to go back.
