MJbayley
Looks like Primark may be taking the 80,000 Sq foot unit, although this was probably expected > http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpost.php?p=103844895&postcount=4412 For those interested the new moor market units will be taken by Tj Hughes, Poundland (apparently) and a frozen food retailer. Don't think this accounted for all the units Edited June 1, 2013 by MJbayley

BEDROCK
I think quite a few stalls are moving over, not sure. If a few stalls are left and do not move over than am sure they would make great independent shops like a butchers and continental stores!
JuncoGardner
Great news I say. It'll make a big difference, much needed. Can't wait!
BEDROCK
So what will happen to the existing Primark unit then, that next to Castle House and the old TJ's across road leaves 3 massive buildings empty. Looks like the council may have plans for those buildings after all.

Yes, and with rumour of next taking main retail unit in block one the moor might actually be quite decent with the cinema and food outlets. Hopefully some decent retailers take the remaining five units from the cinema block. Castle market is going to be knocked down
gularscute
I think a mainstream Cinema would be fine just there. Cineworld is long way for South & West Sheffield and I've no problem catching a bus to watch a film. Sounds great and might work but I'm not sure that enough people would make use of it. Can remember watching Tati's Playtime at the Showroom and there were only 5 other people in there. That's the problem, most Sheffielders don't know a good thing when they see it. Castle market is going to be knocked down That makes better sense, have one golden mile stemming from bottom of Fargate down to bottom of the Moor! Take as much away from around Castle Market area as possible, put it all in one convenient logical route!
MJbayley
That would be good! The primark building is actually ok, apart from that overhang on the outside of the building, that looks pretty bad
