I've never read the rags, but do have a look at the pictures some times. They're usually very pretty girls in a pretty, beautiful, sometimes natural, pose. I've never considered them anything other than pleasant to look at, and I do not consider them to be degrading in any way. They are a celebration of the beauty of the healthy, young female form, and long may they continue! Are you a member of the Taliban by any chance, Bedrock? Control and own them. An answer please since you've given precious few lately. Do you sympathise with rapists? Are we all giving them too hard a time? I don't think this is always the case. Some even think the person they are having sex with has actually consented. Does pornography breed rape? Do violent movies breed violent crime? Quite the opposite, it seems. First, porn. What happens when more people view more of it? The rise of the Internet offers a gigantic natural experiment. Better yet, because Internet usage caught on at different times in different states, it offers 50 natural experiments. The bottom line on these experiments is, "More Net access, less rape." A 10 percent increase in Net access yields about a 7.3 percent decrease in reported rapes. States that adopted the Internet quickly saw the biggest declines. So, what is all that about? Pre-marital sex is no longer taboo in our country. We have sex workers where men can go and pay for sex, whether it's at the £20 end of the spectrum up to the £1,000s. No one has the right to be considered attractive. I do not consider pictures of naked people in non-sexual poses to be inappropriate. One point I have to make is that those who object to such things tend not to be so good looking themselves. I have to admit that whenever I see naked pictures of athletic, muscular young men, I feel a bit inadequate and uneasy because I don't look so good myself, but I won't allow jealousy to influence my opinions. What you are trying to dress up as men wanting sexual gratification with beautiful women translates as 'how dare you rebuff me bitch, who do you think you are, I'll show you who's in control.' Yes rapists do like to show they are in control, that's how they scare their victims witless, but not only beautiful women are raped .....also sadly lots of women don't report rape as they are probably so scared and traumatised, and possibly some don't believe they'll be believed. I personally feel that rape be it of a woman, child, or man; is the most heinous crime possibly that can be. The sad thing is also that some women when raped, must think do I give in to get it over with, thinking that's the end, and then they are murdered.
