Help for Heroes announce they will not accept donations from EDL

Recommended Posts

yea because you see everyday in the papers about the EDL murdering innocent people, blowing them selves up etc dont you.... tut tut

Depends if you include the EDL's predecessors.

Anyway, people in the UK are much more likely to end up innocently caught in the middle of a fight between the EDL and UAF than they are to be blown up by an Islamic extremist.

That maybe so, but you are more likely to still be alive if your caught up in the middle of a fight

I believe all nazis were followers of an evil leader . Hitler

I believe 99% of Muslims don't follow an evil leader , just their chosen god

Yet there is always major Muslim outrage around the world whenever anything bad is said about Muhammad whom is universally considered by Muslims as the last prophet sent by God, was a religious, political, and military leader from Mecca who unified Arabia into a single religious polity under Islam.

So other than claiming to have been told by by God to conquer the people of other countries how was he differant to Hitler.

Sorry to be so picky, but its good form to give credit to sources from which you quote directly.

Well he didn't have an army that started WW2. He wasn't Austrian. He wasn't the leader of a country that went off the rails a bit under his leadership. Did he commit suicide when he realised he'd bitten off a lot more than he could chew? Thinking about it there are a lot of differences.

Coincidentally one of the accusations thrown at Muhammed is his complacency about sex with under-age females. So there's one thing you have in common with the Prophet.

Obviously he didn't start WW2 but he did have an army which he used for conquest and the persecution of Jews, he may not have been the leader of a country but he was the leader of an army that went off the rails, no he didn't commit suicide probably because he was far more successful in his conquest than Hitler, and yes he was different to Hitler regarding his apparent sexual orientation.

Why do you suppose one is revered whilst the other is condemned, despite both committing similar atrocities?

how many are there here?

Somewhere between 1500 and 2000 which is LESS THAN HALF what the EDL got in Luton when they first started.

So even the brutal murder of a soldier in the UK could not revive the fortunes of the EDL enough to match their support when the relatively minor 'poppy burning' incident occurred in 2009. The difference between last weekend and then is that the EDL are now seen by most people who have even heard of them, as a bunch of racist, violent drunks who seem intent on stirring up racial hatred.

It is no wonder decent, respectable charities want nothing whatsoever to do with them.

Here's another glaring example of the EDL's hate speech and racism, taken from their recent showing in Newcastle.

In the video clip a man is invited up to speak by Tommy 'idiot' Robinson and proclaims

''Send the black ***** home'' to cheering and applause.

If our police and the apologist British public had not been so tolerant of radical Islamic hate preachers then the EDL would not exist, the murder of Lee Rigby is the result of that tolerance, and that should be a lesson to all.

The EDL maybe racist, violent drunks but they stir up no more racial hatred than the radical islamist hate preachers, it's a pity that anyone wants to jump on the bandwagon of anything for their political agenda, however that seems to be the norm for almost every flavour of political or religious persuasion, and most posters on here !

The average charity in this country does not really know or care what political or religious persuasion their donators are, so why you are so obsessed with this nonsense is beyond me

If charities were so concerned about their donators backgrounds they would all come out and say so don't you think
