Help for Heroes announce they will not accept donations from EDL

Recommended Posts

Just like certain people won't accept that nutcases in the name of Islam are to blame for the death of Lee Rigby , Thousands on 9/11 , July the 7th , Boston bombings etc etc

Let's be accurate about this. The version of "islam" that you refer to here has as much in common with mainstream Islam as the Ku Klux Klan have in common with mainstream Christianity.

They are nutcases yes, but they don't do it in the name of Islam.

Who's version of Islam or Christianity is the correct version? Islamic extremists believe their version of Islam is the correct version, and this is one of the reasons they don’t have a major issue with killing other Muslims that live by a different version.

You are (probably deliberately) missing the point.

The people who carried out the murder are a tiny minority of Muslims just as the KKK or Westboro Baptist Church are a tiny minority of Xtians.

Who cares what the correct version is. It is a religion FFS!

I say take all EDL's money off them at least it will do some good.

Good idea!

Maybe use some of it to pay back the £20 million+ it has cost to police their drunken, violent demos over the past three years!

And look! Someone has set up a Just Giving page to raise the money H4H lost by refusing to accept money from the EDL! :hihi:

How long did that take to work out, there are over a billion Muslims and only two carried out the murder, so yes they are a minority, but that fact in no way negates the fact that millions of Muslims think the way these two people think. And as far as I know millions of Muslims don't think the way these two Muslims think. So which version of Islam is the correct version.

That would be this one then.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/religion/religions/islam/history/earlyrise_1.shtml

Early rise of Islam (632-700)

The Muslim community spread through the Middle East through conquest, and the resulting growth of the Muslim state provided the ground in which the recently revealed faith could take root and flourish.

The military conquest was inspired by religion, but it was also motivated by greed and politics.
