Saturday 1st June B2 (8.5 miles)

 

The Sheen of Hartington

 

A walk of fine views,open farmland and green lanes. From Hartington we head towards the modest Sheen Hill (380m), which we climb to enjoy the panoramic views. Crossing the River Manifold we then head to Reaps Moor for a stop at the remote Olde Butchers Arms. We re-cross the Manifold walking to the hamlet of Brund, Sheen village and back across the River Dove into Hartington in plenty of time for the beer festival - see socials page for details.

 

Start: SK129605, Outside Hartington Cheese Shop

 

Transport: Meet at 10:30 at the walk start.
