Andy C Posted February 10, 2006 Share Posted February 10, 2006 In terms of pubs you are probably best doing a crawl of the Division Street/West Street/Trippet Lane area of town. Bars/pubs in this area include Lloyds No1, Yates, Crystal, Ruby Lounge, Walkabout, Frog & Parrot, Fire Station, Halcyon, Forum, Revolution, S1, Muse, Cavendish Its a Scream, Flares, Reflex, Bedroom, Tequila, Takapuna, Grapes, Dog & Partridge, Trippets, Washington, Devonshire Cat and DQ. Restaurants depends on what you fancy. There are a few of the buffet variery - No1 Orientel and Jumbo which does chinese, and Cha Chas which does Indian. Otherwise there is a whole load of different kinds of restaurant, the ones that tend to cater for parties are top of West Street, or if you are looking for something more international then there are absolutely loads on London Road, including Wasabisabi Japanese and the Jabu Fondue bar!
