With regard to the thread's title and Happ Hazzard I would be muchos surprised if anyone of the people arrested identified themselves as being (or by an even longer shot were members of) UAF. But yes there was lots of hate, hate for the fascism of the BNP and their attempt to exploit the horrific death of Lee Rigby.

Lee Rigby's family said they didn't want his death to be used as an excuse to attack others.

Did UAF not get the message?

Yes they got the message, but they don't give a toss about Lee Rigby's family, so out of fear and hatred they aim to cause trouble and intimidate people with opposing views to the ones they hold.

Nothing new there mate.

In January 2010, when the Pendle branch of the UAF removed a wreath from the War Memorial in Nelson that was laid down by a British National Party member,[19] Richard MacSween of the Pendle UAF said "The BNP have left a wreath and we have removed it because we don't approve of fascism.". In response, Councillor George Adam, from the Nelson and District branch of the Royal British Legion, said: "I'm annoyed - they have no right to remove that wreath. The BNP is a legitimate political party and they have a right to lay down a wreath just as any other members of the public do." BNP Councillor Brian Parker added: "It's disgusting, and it's theft"
