BEDROCK
Hello, I have been interested in doing some self-employment lately and have been told I am entitled to Working Tax Credits. But also heard that for people on Income Based JSA that there is a special flat payment for entrepreneurs wanting to go it alone.
Pixie824
Ask about Enterprise Allowance at the job centre. It's to help people wanting to set up their own business. http://www.dwp.gov.uk/adviser/updates/new-enterprise-allowance/ Sorry, I don't know about tax credits. Jabroni
I worked 6 months in a Supermarket, 12 hour shifts stacking shelves at night to start my own business, that was 10 years ago. It was like a prison sentence, saving as much money as possible. I set up with 3 grand, never looked back since. Good luck.
