chem1st
Alco-copters (Alcohol delivery drones) are currently being built and tested. http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2013/06/04/dominos-pizza-is-testing-pizza-delivery-drones/ Domino’s Pizza hired a creative agency called T + Biscuits to test the feasibility of octocopter drones that deliver a hot, delicious pizza to your doorstep. Heavily branded as the DomiCopter, the current prototype can deliver two, large pizzas in about ten minutes within a four mile radius of the store. While future versions could hypothetically use GPS coordinates to deliver the pie, the existing model is piloted from the ground by someone experienced in drone flight. Currently alco-copters are being tested on the alco's best friend - pizzas! However, we all know they would come in handy for delivering alcohol too! What do you think of alco-copters? Do you think they are likely to take off?
andygardener
Looks like a gimmic to me. Trying to land one in a small garden would potentially cause damage to both the garden and the drone, ditto a big garden, ditto a huge garden. Bad idea practically, but a good marketing ploy by dominoes.

Alcoblog
Nothing new here! As you can see from this picture, I've been delivering stuff in the Alcocopter for ages. I think Donino's have seen me successfully delivering airborne sandwiches (as in archive pic) to a friend on T'Cross (accidentally lived there for a bit) without suffering undue damage. All things considered (cost of new pizza scooters to replace stolen ones), using remote controlled aircraft is the way to go if they want to branch out into the wilderness that is Parsonia.
