Is the government's new advisor on social mobility a hypocrite?

Recommended Posts

No I don't think he's been a hypocrite. If they're able to lots of people help their kids get jobs. Not so long ago when we had big employers that took on apprentices, it wasn't unheard of for someone to put in a good word with the foreman or manager to help their son or daughter to get a foot in the door.

That we have an advisor on social mobility says a great deal about the way our country is governed, and the sort of society we have nowadays. :(
