Have you not considered that violent extremism has a certain appeal to people with psychopathic tendencies? I didn't, I just responded to the bizarre statement that they must all be mentally ill, when in fact the vast majority of people that do something bad are not mentally ill. If their belief in God and heaven makes them mentally ill, then everyone with belief in God and heaven must also be mentally ill, they are just doing what they believe in necessary to gain their place in heaven, again no different to someone that believes doing something good gets them a place in heaven.
