thekobyring
I was planning to purchase a cctv system over the internet but the thing is, I don’t know anything about what that DVR channels means, or what PO or PID mean. I found this on ebay and I decided to ask you guys before I purchase this. I want to know what you guys think before I purchase that. It says that it has 3.5” HDD support, 4 channels, a 2TB of hard disk capacity, and it features audio recording, mobile phone access, and real time recording. Ok so here’s the site
WeX
Look up the brand and model in the ebay advert, then Google with with the suffix of "Getting Started Guide" or "Manual".

alchresearch
Maplin stuff is usually overpriced. However, for electrical stuff which goes faulty its much easier to deal with a return than on Ebay.
mart
I got a lot of info from this site, and the guy on the phone when I wanted to clarify the things that I did not understand. They also did (and may still do) You tube tutorials. Very helpful company. http://www.cctv42.co.uk/
masonhawdon
I agree with thekobyring. Plus, whatever you do, don’t go with Maplins.
