vincentb Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 Hi thebiz10 - you've got a couple of different options: 1: There are several pool leagues, based in pubs and social clubs, which play every week throughout a season (e.g. Sheffield Northern on Mondays, Crookes and Walkley friendlyl on Mondays too, Walkley friendly also Mondays, World Rules League on Tuesdays, Netherthorpe and District on Wednesdays. For that one, you basically need to pick a pub you like playing pool in, find out when their team plays and if they are looking for new players, and settle in for a season. 2: In a snooker club such as Riley's at Hunter's bar, there may be one-off or short-run tournaments.
