Earthly
We know that the moon affects the tides on earth, so given that the human body is apparently 70% water, does the moon directly affect the human body in any way?

F=gmm over r The gravitational force is proportional to the mass involved. The sea is very heavy, so large gravitational force, so tides. The water in your body is not very heavy, so very little force, so practically no effect.
dosxuk
To answer that question, you might like to look at how and why the Moon affects the tides.

What about the water in Michelle McManus's body?
flamingjimmy
What about the water in Michelle McManus's body? Compared to the mass of the moon, sorry it's still 0.

Daven
I am a great believer in the Moon affecting the human body . When it is a full moon some of my patients go crazy . Very true ! Medical staff are who work night duty are always conscious of when there is a full moon! Isn't the word 'lunatic' (not PC these days, I know), derived from the word 'lunar' (appertaining to the moon) ?
