officegirl
Is darnel farm still there? I use to go there when i was younger to see the animals, help feed them and buy fresh duck eggs. Its half term and I was wanting to take my little brother there, he's been to Heeley city farm and Graves park rare breeds farm. I mentioned the farm to some friends of mine and they looked at me as if i was mad. Has this farm been lost? I know it was near to a railway bridge and it was quite a large farm. The route we used to get there when i was younger was across the bridge over the park way by the fundryworkers working mens club, vering left and following the path round and it was down a tarmacked road which lead to the rail way bridge. There was a huge red farm building there. thanks for your help
Strix
the only reference I canm find is here, so it looks like it does still exist, though it's hard to tell if it's still in the format you remember. can't find any reference to it on the council website, and Google isn't being very helpful
