Tramlines has established itself as the most anticipated event of the year for the lucky residents of Sheffield. Last year saw over 80,000 people turning Sheffield into one massive festival site over 70 venues.

We are incredibly pleased to announce that we are back once again this year, hosting an outdoor terrace party at Bloo88 before taking it upstairs to ‘The Loft’ after dark. Bloo88 is the perfect location for us, the outdoor space will be filled with our carefully selected DJ’s, sound-system and hundreds of revellers that will swell the city centre population beyond belief. You can dance, drink and enjoy the music outside or step indoors for recuperation by enjoying one of the excellent Pizzas that Bloo88 is famed for.

With so much happening and so many established artists, it is sometimes difficult to know where to be at what time. Sheffield really is lucky with the wealth of talent headlining the venues this year (as with every year). However, we believe that our line-up is very strong, especially for the lovers of

deep house music. We proudly present;

Stretford Dogs-Club [Mans Best Friend]

Currently residing in Majorca, Stretford Dog’s Club will be visiting Sheffield for the Tramlines Festival and we simply had to get him onboard.

After putting on parties in Manchester for the past 10 years Andy Proctor AKA Stretford Dogs Club is in the mood for partying, as always. Behind some of the UKs best underground club nights like Manchester’s stalwart Deep House night Development & the ever so unique I AM parties in Manchester & Liverpool over the years, he’s invited some of the world’s best DJs to play, always to intimate sub 300 capacity crowds.

A list of DJs that have played for Andy reads like a who’s who of House & Techno, Body & Soul masters Francois K, Danny Krivit and Joe Claussell. US pioneers like MAW’s Kenny Dope Gonzalez, Theo Parrish, DJ Spinna, Ron Trent & Glenn Underground. Techno legends like Deetron, Rolando & Stacey Pullen and right through to German masters like Alexander Barck ( Jazzanova ) , Ame and Dixon.

Towards the end of 2010, Andy took on a new guise “Stretford Dogs Club”, a tongue in cheek DJ pseudonym and started to produce online mixes via Soundcloud that quickly took up popularity all around the world, with listeners regularly tuning in from Brazil to Japan.

In 2011 he also started a project to create a 24 hour mix across the year entitled “A Day in a Dogs Life” which gained recognition and his reputation quickly gathered place. Last year was a builder for Stretford Dogs Club, and was a year which saw him invited to play regular dates at various Manchester clubs including the best of them all, Sankeys.

Also playing for Snafu up in Aberdeen and ending the year with two dates in Cape Town and Preotria in South Africa the SDC sound managed to get everywhere. Playing alongside the likes of DJs/producers like Dixon, Waifs & Strays, Death On The Balcony, Heidi, Andre Lodemann and Alex Barck from Jazzanova – as well as being invited for an Interview and Podcast/Mix with the likes of The Independent online and for Ministry of Sound radio on New Years Eve – SDC is the underground talent gaining more and more props from all the right people.

2012 saw Andy take gigs in South Africa, Berlin, Croatia to name but a few, DJing alongside artists including Prosumer, Theo Parrish and Todd Terje. Also in 2012, Andy started his own radio show on Deepvibes radio which saw him attract guests like Mark Farina. Alongside a monthly DJ Podcast that’s seen the likes of Osunlade, 6th Borough Project, Halo & Black Coffee and DJ Sneak Guest.

2013 has not let off, with residencies in Palma Majorca as well as building up air miles with various other international gigs, Andy is building and building his name and Mans Best Friend record label. Big things are happening for Stretford Dogs-Club.

Evans

Local lad Daniel Evans is currently seeing the rewards of years of hard work. His own label ‘Dilate’ is seeing recognition as one of the hottest deep house labels upcoming from the UK.

Discovering his passion for electronic music at an early age, taking part in arranging events as well as DJ-ing at various locations for several years. It wasn’t until early 2009 he gradually began working on productions with his close friend Waterfall forming the alias “Evans & Waterfall”

Evans started to branch out working on his solo career in 2012 making his own personal tastes in house music. Later In the year he decided to start his own record label Dilate Records with some of the biggest names in the music scene involved such as Droog, Lula Circus, Special Case, Death On The Dalcony, Max Chapman, Adam Shelton.

Finalising the line-up we have Delve Deeper regulars and some of the most established DJ’s in Sheffield, Set2 (collect), Nigel Fischer & Solid State (All Out War), Carl Dean & Nic James (Dalen Light) and Delve Deeper new comer Dave Platts.

Once again, we are so much looking forward to the Tramlines Festival and are proud with our contribution.
