effer
Running, passing, tackling ;-) Just RL training really. If you like it you can train regularly and start playing matches, if not just join in with what you want to do and play touch. Everyone's welcome to join in. If you're coming down for the touch anyway feel free to give it a go - no worries if not. If anyone needs more details pm me.
Marksteeler
Left myself open for that didnt i, i meant do you just play a game amongst yourselfs or work on drills?
effer
Mainly drills and game related plays. We're playing for the first time in the winter Pennine League this year and are introducing lots of new people to the game so it's nothing too intimidating. We quite often finish with a game of grapple but the emphasis is on preparing for the game at the weekend.

beckelina
Don't worry the lights didn't turn up so it was cancelled anyway! Hopefully all go for next Thurs at 7. No touch this Saturday as some of us are at a tournament in Nottingham!!
beckelina
Well after an excellent day on Saturday we returned home proud winners of the Perfect Motion Shield! Big thanks to everyone who came along, and it just goes to show what an accessible sport touch is. Promising noises being made about a league in Sheffield next year too - watch this space! beckelina
Training tonight at All Saints at 7pm (please bring £2 to go towards the cost of the lights) and also Saturday at 10am. Anyone who wants to have a go welcome - it's a very fun and accessible sport! Any ladies out there who'd like to give it a try please come along - remember it's no contact - mostly a quick, ball passing game that improves spatial awareness, footwork and hand-eye co-ordination... CheekyBandit
remember it's no contact Don't you mean light contact?
beckelina
Don't you mean light contact? To be strictly honest, yes, touch rugby requires a light one-handed touch on a player, clothing or the ball... the point I was hoping to get across was that it's not full-on shoulder-to-belly, grappling in the mud wrestling - not unless you want to of course Don't want to put off any potential newbies!
