Gazza58
How long before someone is saying, "it's too hot", or were due for a hosepipe ban. Ill be saying it by sunday. ---------- Post added 05-07-2013 at 17:36 ---------- The ones that make me laugh are girls wearing summery, pretty, flimsy usually short and low cut dresses with heavy leather boots or worse still Ugg boots. I never look at the feet.

Guest
Summer in the city: super-high pollen count, stinky people, blinding sun through office windows, and it's too hot to sleep at night. Woot. Roll on December.

Rupert_Baehr
Do Sheffielders still wear handkerchiefs with knots in the corners on their heads in summer? When I was a kid, we could tell the grockles (most of whom came from Derbyshire/ the East Riding) by the knotted Hankies, copies of the 'Daily Mirror' and bright red patches where skin which hadn't seen the sun since last year had received an overdose.
