More or less opposite the park.

 

No they were between Daniel Doncasters and Hill foot Bridge on the river side I lived .in Hobson Ave 1942 to1966

Anlaby Brough Cottam Driffield and Eden I lived in the posh area near Hillfoot Bridge Hobson Avenue same side but with a better class of riff raff

Can anyone tell me why Owlerton is now pronounced Howl oton? It was always pronounced

O lerton when I lived there. Anyone agree?

Would have been Monfredi's side, can't remember if there was two or three butchers, possibly Eric Jackson.
