The wind doesn't always blow, so turbines are not always producing, and by my reckoning, solar energy seems to dramitically fall towards the end of each day. Solar energy would only run out if the sun didn't rise again the following day. Wind energy would only end if winds stopped blowing. You think that as your brain doesn't work while asleep at night you don't need to use it during the day.
