Texas Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 Very interesting, those photos of petrified tree stumps. And that is what they appear to be, tree stumps, as if the trees had been felled. I've visited the famous site in Arizona and the most striking difference between that and the Sheffield site is that there are quite a few complete 'logs' with jagged ends, as if the trees had fallen naturally.
