melthebell
I remember reading about this guy years ago when he was suspected of killing a band mate or something. Didn't call himself a Count or a Lord back then? yeah count grishnackh it was a former band member Euronymous he killed from the band mayhem. looks like hes had a fair few assumed names in his time according to wiki, Count Grishnackh; Greifi Grishnackh; Greven ('The Count'); Varg Kvísling Larsson Víkarnes; Louis Cachet Louis Cachet is the one hes registed in norway with now, but his birthnames Kristian Larsson Vikernes seems to be all the rage on the right wing of things to use different names ---------- Post added 17-07-2013 at 13:38 ---------- Some would argue that Nazism is not in fact right wing, that it is a perversion of the left. It was called National Socialism after all. yes we all know where it came from, as i mentioned i think its from a warped sense of partriotism, where people change things to defend their homeland from a percieved threat
Electerrific
Samuel Johnson was right- "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel!"

The extreme right needs someone to hate. Although I would defend love of country, pride in race as being laudible attributes, when this is done to assert your superiority over other human beings it is just plain wrong and can be evil. Distance. At the time the Japanese had a very similar "we're superior to everyone else" kick going on and the nazis were far enough away that direct conflict between their respective desired spheres of influence was so far down the line if at all that it presented no problem. SevenRivers
and hes back out on the streets http://www.spin.com/articles/varg-vikernes-lawyer-terrorism-evidence-arrest/ He sounds like a very dangerous individual who has already killed before so we know he is capable of it. Shame he couldn't get more than 21 years under Norweigan law, but now he is out they have to have evidence on him like they would anybody else. Nagel
He also burnt down several of the ancient Stave Churches in Norway including this one which I visited a few times. It was an amazing old building and I have no idea why anyone would have destroyed it - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantoft_Stave_Church

The DCRI is going to be onto him like a pack of starved ticks now. Especially after the flak that department has recently been taking on the back of the Merah affair.
