laura2201
Iv just moved into a house and the previous owner has painted the bath and sink not sure what with but it's all started to come off. Can't afford a new suite at minute so trying to find out how to get it off so it looks ok Any ideas
geared
Probably bathroom/tile paint, you could try and scrape it off but to be honest you'll be very lucky to get it off and looking half decent. There's a good chance with the scraping you'll just scratch the hell out of the sink and bath You could try some thinners, maybe white spirit or something - but check on the tin to see if it reacts with porcelain or enamel first. Is the bath tin/enamel or is it plastic/acrylic? If it's plastic there's even less chance of getting the paint off because it's so soft you'll easily ruin it with a scraper. smithy266
is it a cast iron bath, and pot sink, or plastic?
