Here's what you do Jordan.

Find an old record player and put one on. Start with "Rose Marie".

You won't make any money, but you may become a big fan.

I have some Elvis Presley/Michael Jackson/Johnny Cash/Marty Robbins LPs too which I am going to keep and listen to when I buy some turntables (I am a DJ so turntables would be ideal)

I do appreciate the music back in those days and I love having the records there to look at (some of the artwork was sensational).

I think I may have to keep them, its just a shame they take up loads of room :|

For not a lot of money you can now buy gadgets to turn your old LPs into CDs,I,ve seen one or two advertised in the papers also Maplins are a good bet for one of these.Slim Whitmans "Rose Marie" always takes me back to when we as kids holidayed in Bridlington,we always plonked down on the Northshore beach.Across the road were the amusements and I was their best customer on the slots a penny a go,the Slim Whitman tune seemed to be on a permanent loop so evertime I hear it back my mind drifts to those carefree childhood days!.:):hihi::)

Went to camp with the Army cadets that year, August 1955 in Hornsea. It was the song of the moment back then and it takes me back as well, I nearly ruptured myself trying hit those high notes..
