I would imagine you are refering to Netherthorpe as it is known. Funnily enough my Granmother also lived there. What Street or Road did your's live on? Tricky Posted February 15, 2006 Share Posted February 15, 2006 If I remember correctly, there is a stone post outside Sheffield university that has Sheffield City on one side and Nether Hallam on the other.
