The government is not the arbiter of morals nor my parent, it has no place in protecting me from anything that is legal, and no place making things illegal based on moral judgements. Then the government said that they had to be concealed in a plastic cover. The mags are still there & readily available but they are not in ya face and cannot be seen by anyone under 18. This measure is the same in principle. Making it difficult for under 18's to stubble upon or search for content that by law they shouldnt have access to. AFAIK there's no age bar to purchase legal printed pornography. Top shelf positioning and restricting sales to adults are conventions, not legally enforceable requirements. You wouldn't recommend that petrol be banned just because it can be used for arson would you? Thats a ridiculous analogy. A torrent site with legitimate uses would not link to copyrighted content.
