Porn to be blocked!!

Recommended Posts

I tend to agree with your point, you should have to look for porn instead of it finding you or stumbling across it by accident.

As a single man I will still be able to access it I imagine and the internet will be far safer environment for the many kids that use it so I can't see a problem.

The Tories don't believe it actually exists and want to keep sex real :hihi:

wrong, generally you have to look for porn to find it, I don't come onto say SF and stumble on porn, same with all the other sites and forums I use, both mainstream and not. you make out porn is everywhere.....well it is....if you look for it.

its nothing to do with protecting children, these bans, that's a red herring, its about control.

parents can easily block, filter and monitor at home, and if somebody uploads porn to mainstream sites then THEY should be banned, NOT the act.

It's the job of parents to stop their children accessing porn, not the government and not at the expense of other adults.

My heart really goes out to those soon to be deprived poor adults how will they get through life without their porn supply.

Truth is I don't care a fig about them. Too many children's lives are being ruined by the actions of paedophiles. Any government initiative to take action against that has my full support.

Are you saying those who watch porn are paedophiles, you talk about "poor adults" and then say you don't care about them, then says too many kid's lives are ruined by peadophiles.

This is about the UK prone industry, not paedophilia!?

If you "don't care a fig about them", why post on a discussion board about the subject?

The rolleyes smiley makes you look like a petulant child, whereas the rolling of eyes can be instinctive and without thought face to face, you deliberately sought out a smiley to be rude and dismissive.

I dislike child porn too, however I would not troll a thread about something else to put my point across. Stop changing the subject.

Like most government legislation regarding the internet (by far the largest source of porn) this is pointless (in my opinion) and very difficult top implement and monitor.

Does anyone know if I home made porn is covered by this? For instance, should I film a session with the mrs and my inept fumblings somehow conspire to make her ejaculate, will I get in trouble?

I hope so as this could give me an excuse for my sub-par performances.

Talk about making a strawman....

Are you seriously suggesting that all adults who watch porn are somehow now kiddie fiddlers? Do you realise just how many adults actually do watch porn? I suspect the figure would surprise you.

Porn is the canary of free speech - if it does get removed then expect the rest of the free speech we enjoy to start facing further attacks. This may be unpalatable subject to some, but it's one that should concern all of us.

I'm sure your Mrs will be happy. :hihi: Joking aside -

I assume it was specific to companys who make the films and distribute them for profit. They'll never be able to ban home made.

You shouldn't just be able to simply type sexual terms into Google and be instantly linked to porn. The time has come to have a sort of registered opt-in system so that young people don't have easy access to it and have their minds warped by pornography.

The ridiculous performative nature of pornography does give a false impression of what sex is; anything less than being a Barby doll bimbo type or having a 12 inch penis may make the young and impressionable feel inadequate.
