photodrew
i know the weather has scuppered any weekend fishing, particularly mine, a newbie fly fisherman having a dabble last couple of months and I am really enjoying it. Mrs goes away this weekend, i thought i would seize it with two lengthy days of fly fishing up at wharncliffe....until the heatwave kicked in nothing to be had for last 5 days when i went up on saturday, seems as though though trout are keeping deep and only feeding on the bottom where its a little cooler. now the heavy sunlight has passed and the temps dropped a little, how long should it be before the water temp is at a nice level for feeding to occur 0-4ft below the surface??? i was thinking of trying it tonight for couple of hours see how the fish are feeling.
