Myers39
Hi, I'm new to this forum and not a "yorkie" However my husband is. I posted on another forum a few years ago asking about the Sheffield Schools Choir when they sang at the granting of the keys to the City to Sir Winston Churchill which was I think in 1952, conducted by Sir John Barbarolli. My husband sang in that choir and remembers it very well. Unfortunately his parents didn't have a record player at the time and didn't buy a copy of the recording. He remembers singing Jerusalem and Nymphs and Shepherds. Regrettably my husband is now suffering from dementia and I would really like to track down a copy in some form of this recording. Can any members help or know anyone who can? I did have contact from someone called Stuart but have lost details. Regards
