Grenoside123 Posted July 26, 2013 Share Posted July 26, 2013 I think you'd have to be extremely oversensitive to be offended by someone calling you mate, likewise with any other loose term of endearment such as love, duck, flower etc. I think it's a Yorkshire thing, it's just the way we operate round these parts!
