Maxtor
Went to my local Tescos this morning and the flys landing on all the fresh Bakery products that had been put out freshly baked bread croissants etc none of the food was covered told the staff not bothered its horrible what can be done does anyone know if the food should be covered up customers are gonna buy the food that the flys have landed on. It was the same last week. I called the manager because the staff didn't seem to give too hoots. One member of staff was even overheard by my nephew saying Asians (he used the P word but i wont repeat that ) don't mind a few flies in their food. It'll make sheffield more like home for them.As i didn't hear that myself i didn't mention it to the manager but he was very apologetic about the flies and said it would be rectified asap. It obviously hasn't but in fairness to Tescos its very very warm at the moment and with the hot weather come more flies. Do what i do, buy your bread and stuff pre packaged or better still buy some flour with all the stuff in it to make bread. From Aldi its about £1 and makes lovely bread. It was the big one on the Wicker and Saville street. The 24 hour one with the petrol station. Not sure if its the same as in the original post but its the one i saw the flies on the food at. Andy
I never buy the unwrapped self service bakery items - always buy pre-packed. You don't know who's been coughing or sneezing near them or touching them with dirty hands. This isn't specific to Tesco, it applies to all shops and also applies to the salad bar. Boothybabe
But this thread isn't about Tesco's bakery. It's about Tesco's flies. How do the flies in Tesco's bakery compare with the flies in Morrison's?
