Help for hero - bradley manning

Such as previously unreleased details of the July 12, 2007 Baghdad airstrike which killed 12 civilians.

Yes, I can see how that would be considered sensitive.

How about the 4 May 2009 Granai Airstrike which killed around 140 civilians.

LINK

I would say that those shameless child murderes are serving the likes of Al Qaeda or the Taleban.

How many Muslims have killed each other so far and continue to do so on a daily basis? 700 so far in Iraq alone this month.

The problem with you, frank ryan and skinz is that everytime a thread is started about something connected to the US you invariably pop up like weeds after a rainstorm and submit your youtube links that have all been submitted before many times and say "ooh look what big bad old uncle sam did back then"

You are boring ditto heads as far as I'm concerned.

I didn't 'pop up' on the thread - I started it! - I did 'pop up' now and again as it progressed, it's a forum - we're supposed to 'pop up' or it wouldn't work would it.

If there wasn't any profit in war, we wouldn't have them. I was reading the other day how USA companies including Ford and Bush funded the third reich prior to WW2.

How much profit are Boeing and Lockheed Martin making?

The USA commits acts of terror. Only the victims are seen as collateral damage and the media is state controlled.

the Bush dynasty are interesting and nasty - prescott was hand in hand with the nazis, george senior was an oil business partner with the bin ladens, they set up and oil export company benefiting their respective offspring george w and osama.

you couldn't make it up.

nasty, violent secrets need suppressing, that's why manning will die in prison.

Usa 11, sf 0

I don't know what that means sheriff - if you are implying that the US of A is a more powerful entity than SF by a power of 11, then it's some thing of an understatement and should read 'USA - infinity, SF-0'.

SF doesn't collect my data and hand it, without my knowledge, to foreign governments (I hope not anyway), SF doesn't invade other lands on spurious grounds, lay them waste, drain them of oil and move on. It doesn't consider opposition as criminal (though the mods are a bit heavy at times), it doesn't trap a man in moscow airport and label him a traitor for telling me what it's up to.

so yeah, I concede, it's at least US 11 - SF-0

vietnam 10 - USA 0

the taliban 10 - USA 0

but never mind, the yanks learned from the defeat in vietnam, they now arm and fund the Taliban's bezzy mates in syria so they 'win' either way as they/we scuttle out of afghanistan with a vast death toll in their wake and

NO ONE ANY WISER AS TO WHAT THE HELL IT WAS ALL FOR?

Hello Frank,

Can I suggest that you have a peek at the two videos I am posting, which will clarify what has and is happening....

Part one

Part two

You may need to watch them a couple of times, but if you take the time, all will become clear...

What can we do about it?

Skip the adverts?

God bless Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden who put right before their own lives.

Peace and Love is ALL there is that matters.

hello catpus - bit conspiracy theorist for my taste I'm afraid, I'm 'an embittered old marxist' (so harleyman says, I'm actually a rather cheerful old socialist and he's a traitor like buck - they defected to a foreign power that spies on us, steals our personal information and draws us into wars that turn our young into killers and corpses)

but 'peace and love' sounds good to me sister.

How naive can you get? Wars start because of ethnic problems or territorial disputes

WW2 started because the British leadership at that time didn't have the balls to stand up to Hitler beforehand.

As for arms sales do you really believe that Britain, France and Germany are not in the business of selling arms also?

WW2 was fought for a noble cause but it almost bankrupt us. We are still paying you back.

Are you saying there is no profit in the wars the USA currently chooses to start or intervene in? No darker agenda?

We Brits are great at selling arms. Everyone is involved from the Queen down and it stinks.

Why harp on about Bush's ancestors? How do you know what your ancestors got up to?..

There's nothing wrong with making money when the opportunity occurs but you being a "cheerful old socialist" :hihi: expect the government to feed, house and clothe you no doubt

If, as some on here have said that Iraq and Afghanistan achieved nothing and left a legacy of death then the same could be said of WW2.

Poland didn't end up free and democratic as was intended. It became a puppet state in Stalin's post war empire so it could be equally said that it was also a wasted effort with a horrendous amount of destruction and death at the end.

There's no dark agenda. America stumbled into the various messes that the declining powers of Britain and France, both bankrupt in 1945 left behind since they could no longer control or adminsiter the various parts of the world they had so long exploited.

Mistakes were made along the way. Much of it the failure to understand the mentality and cultures of other peoples.

There was it seems a lack of understanding of the middle east and the centuries olf hatreds and rivalries between the various factions in that part of the world. Dont forget that countries like Libya, Iraq and Syria were cobbled together during the days of British colonialism. Different groups flung together in an unwilling partnership and a mandate for trouble sooner or later

I think though that a lesson has been learned in the last 7 decades. The none intervention in Syria is a sign that foreign policy is changing.

Which countries have ben drained of oil? The US only imports a fraction of it's oil from the middle east. The rest comes from either domestic sources and imported from Canada and Venezuela

I dare say when you climb into your little imported Lada and start up the engine you expect it to perform... so where do you think all your oil comes from?

All of it from the middle east... that's where

If you feel so strongly about what you imagine is " foreign oil exploitation" perhaps you should garage or sell the car and take to riding a bicycle instead

howdy marshall -

1. I know what the bush dynasty got up to cos I can read.

2. I work, my food clothes and house are paid for with the money I get from it.

you've been up a republican gum tree too long cowboy, it's still possible for people to want to know the truth about the people and organizations that rule them, that's the whole point of the thread if you bother to read it.

George W doesn't want you to know that his granddaddy was a nazi collaborator, you can respond by -

1. not caring

2. not believing on the grounds that it's uncomfortable

3. agreeing that the telling of the truth should illegal and dangerous to the truth teller.

current US policy is 3. and you're willing to support it - if you're comfortable being dumb I can't fault yer, but don't expect me to join in.

cowboy.

ps my granddad wasn't a nazi (he was an ARP warden and worked in an asbestos factory - killed him), my dad was a plumber, he didn't invade anywhere and didn't set me up in business with Osama bin Laden. My uncle Joe spent most of the war as a POW and was convicted of 'gross indecency' (sex act with his boyfriend) in about 1970 and sent to prison, his brother, my uncle mick died in a japanese POW camp, my mum was a secretary not a fascist - she's in poor health from 60 yrs of 40 fags a day, my maternal grandmother came from ireland and lived for 91 yrs without feeling the need to trade with hitler, my brother is a website designer and is really skint, but still doesn't set up oil deals with Bin Laden.

The "loan" was repaid back in 2006.

Of course, you still owe from WWI, but what the heck!

Please stop with the "cowboy" and "marshall." It is absolutely cringeworthy and adds nothing to the discussion.
