Nomis
Due to my regular opponent being on long term sick, I am after a badminton partner. Ideally someone who is of a good standard. I can play either at Concord, Graves or Ponds Forge. Early Saturday mornings, some early evening's. Drop me a line....
mr_william
have you considered joining a club? there's several social clubs around that you can simply just turn up to, pay and play. Sheffield forum badminton club play at ponds forge on tuesday and thursday evenings - priced £5 per session (£4 if you sign up before hand on their signup thread on this forum) - a great bunch, very welcoming! 8-9.30pm theres also shiregreen sports badminton club who play at firth park community arts college on a monday evening and hinde house school on thursdays. priced just £2 a session. 7.30-9pm with your first session being free! both are venues are within a 2minute drive from concord. both clubs offer an hour and a half. the standard at SFBC is on the whole a little higher. both clubs mostly play doubles, though there's more chance for singles at SSBC on a monday evening. http://www.sfbc.org.uk for sheffield forum http://www.shiregreensports.org.uk for shiregreen sports. i'm on the committee at shiregreen sports badminton club - probably best that i disclose that info!
