Bojolo
If you're interested there is a big butterfly count going on where you monitor the butterflies near you and submit them online. http://www.bigbutterflycount.org/ Also if you want to help monitor long term you can volunteer here: http://www.ukbms.org/involved.aspx Just thought some people might be interested as there seem to be quite a few butterflies around this year. I'm certainly enjoying them.

not wanted
As somebody whos only phobia is butterflies and moths would you like a death tally from the trusty badminton racquet of doom? 7 cabbage whites, peacock thingy and one of those small red things with black dots. There is currently something the size of a harrier jump jet in the bathroom that will need dealing with at some point.
Bojolo
I'm scared of snakes and big ferocious cats but I don't go around killing them. I think you'll find life much more pleasant if you learn to get over it.

Bojolo
People that kill butterflies will one day want to kill people. Don't be ridiculous. Although people that kill endangered Butterflies or Moths could find themselves prosecuted.
